La.CityZine recently covered the American Democracy Institute’s, Empower Change Summit at UCLA and are able to provide you with video of President Bill Clinton’s speech to encourage young people in American Democracy to become active citizens. As well we have an interview with John Hart the CEO and Founder of The American Democracy Institute describing the good that can come out of non-partisan activism and how Empower Change is giving opportunities to people everywhere and allowing people to create opportunities for themselves.
As well we’ve provided a humorous YouTube condolence for those involved in the Writer’s Strike, personal account from the fires that raged through Southern California, and the continuation of the fight for LA’s best burger.
