Bus Plunges Over Bridge in India, Dozens of Students Killed

A bus carrying more than 50 passengers in the Northern Indian state of Rajasthan smashed through a barrier on a bridge and slammed into a dry riverbed killing at least 26 students who had been travelling from a local school.

According to reports the bus had been returning to Sawai Madhopur district from Vrindavan when the accident occurred.

Police are still investigating the accident and have not released a report concerning what caused the bus driver to slam into the barrier.
