Erin Andrews Stalker Faces Justice

The convicted stalker of famous ESPN reporter Erin Andrews is scheduled for a sentencing hearing on Monday. In October, Michael David Barrett was arrested on charges of interstate stalking after having videotaped Andrews nude in her hotel room, without her consent. In court, Barrett admitted to videotaping Andrews through peepholes and then posting the videos online. In September, Andrews appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and described the ordeal as a nightmare. In court, she said “I walk in crowds and I see him in my peripheral vision. When I'm alone in my house, I have fears that he's going to walk inside and hurt me.” Prosecutors are requesting a 27-month sentence for Barrett. Understandably, Andrews hopes for the maximum sentence possible.
