Fisher-Price has voluntarily issued a recall of its Laugh and Learn Kitchen Toys after it was discovered that pieces of the products may pose a choking hazard to children.
Nearly 155,000 units of the Laugh and Learn Kitchen Toys are believed to be involved in the recall. The toy involves a play kitchen with a pretend refrigerator, range and sink. According to the recall, pieces of the faucet or clock hands can detach and potentially become a choking hazard.
The item number of the Laugh and Learn Kitchen Toys is L5067.
There have been two reports of children gagging on pieces, a report of a child who started choking on a piece, and a report that a child did choke on a loose piece.
Consumers have been advised to take the toys away from children and contact Fisher-Price for a free repair kit. Individuals with questions involving this recall can contact Fisher-Price toll-free at (888) 812-7187 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET Monday through Friday and between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Saturday.
