The magnitude-4.4 earthquake that struck Southern California, shaking Los Angeles and surrounding areas, caused no damage or injuries according to officials.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey the quake, which hit just after 4:00 a.m. local time, was centered about 10 miles east of downtown LA.
While the quake was felt by people from as far east as San Bernardino County to Santa Monica to the west there was little in the way of concern from residents.
