Breakenridge Ski Resort opens on November 9, 2007. Breckenridge is one of the most popular ski areas in Colorado because Breckenridge’s high altitude offers an amazing six-month ski season. The mountain is open from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM. The top of the highest peak is 12,988 feet! The slopes rise a tremendous 3,398 feet. The Breckenridge Ski Resort features twenty-eight lifts, which can carry 37,880 people every hour. The resort has been open since December of 1961.
There are exciting children’s programs at the Breckenridge Ski and Ride School. The programs allow children to learn how to ski in an exciting and fun-filled way.
