Justin Downey Marketing announced today the completion of a pro-bono project for the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The project came into consideration for Justin Downey Marketing as they wanted to show their support of America and all the soldiers that have served this country in the past, the present, and for the future. They received a photo from Richard Sanchez, a Dallas VFW member and family member of Marketing Director, Greg Adams, which showed their regiment posing in front of their base in a classic and light-hearted display of perseverance.
The goal of the project was to digitally restore the decades old photo and to recreate a portion of the picture that was missing. The photo had been laminated and was missing a large section on one side, as well as containing various creases in the picture itself. It was painstakingly and meticulously enhanced to bring back the full life of the picture.
Also included in the project was to make a separate photo of the original image that contained only the picture of Mr. Sanchez sitting in the front of the group. After completion of both photos, they were delivered to Mr. Sanchez at his residence in Dallas.
“You guys over there at Justin Downey Marketing did a great job of restoring this picture to its old glory, and it looks like it was taken recently, not so many years ago!”, said Mr. Sanchez while looking at the completed and enlarged pictures, “I just can’t say enough about how absolutely terrific this picture looks. It brings back all the memories, most good but some bad, but it makes the good memories stand out even more. Gosh, it just takes me back to that time and place and I remember it like it was yesterday.”
The photos were prominently displayed in the Hall of State at the State Fair of Texas, in which they received great exposure to the general public and will be kept for future exhibits at the State Fair as well as in other exhibits around the country.
