Frozen Beef Tamales Recalled After Fears that Metal Pieces may be Mixed in Product

More than 3,750 pounds of frozen beef tamales have been recalled by Circle Foods, LLC after it was determined the products may contain pieces of metal.

The beef tamales recall relates to cartons of 10 individually wrapped 5-ounce tamales bearing the label “Tortilla land BEEF TAMALES, Tarditional Corn Husk Wrap, All Natural.”

Costco stores in Los Angeles, California received the tamales that carry an establishment number “EST. 17417” and a “use by” date of “110308.”

There have been no reports of injury related to the product at this time but consumers are being advised to return the beef tamales to Costco stores for a refund.
