Stacey Peterson Case Focuses on Husband, Chicago Police Officer Drew Peterson

Chicago police officer Sgt. Drew Peterson has become a suspect in the disappearance of his 23-year-old wife, Stacey Peterson, who has been missing since Oct. 28.

Along with the announcement that Drew Peterson has been named a suspect, authorities have also indicated that they believe Stacey Peterson may have been killed and the investigation has shifted from a missing persons case to a possible homicide.

The 53-year-old Peterson has told investigators that he received a phone call from Stacey in which she said that she was leaving him for another man.
