It was announced by Amico Games Corp. that they will allocate 2.5D ("Dimension") DEMO in March 2010, which will upgrade the 2D scenario mode of the Company's cellphone games to be 2.5D scenario mode with better in-game art performance and interactivity.
"We didn't find any other Chinese competitors to utilize 3D techniques into developing cellphone game currently. We are the first Chinese cellphone game developer to introduce the concept of '2.5D' in developing cellphone games," Mr. Peter Liu thus commented, Amico's President and CEO, "We will be the first cellphone game developer to introduce 2.5D cellphone game scenario mode in China once we update our game scenarios in next month, which will greatly improve our competitive strengths in the market. Our R&D team has completed key components of 2.5D DEMO and put into trial operations in our testing servers. I do believe that our innovative enhancement in our game scenario mode will provide better game experience for our game players and improve our competitive over other competitors."
