A huge fire broke out in a warehouse on the edge of the Olympic development in the Stratford section of east London Monday.
The fire is in a part-demolished warehouse in in Waterden Road, where extensive rebuilding is taking place in preparation for the 2012 Olympics.
Around 75 firefighters in 15 engines are tackling the blaze, which has created a huge cloud of black smoke that can be seen across the capital.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said the incident is not being treated as a terrorist incident at present and there are no reports of any casualties.
Businesses from the road have recently been re-located recently to enable preparations for the Games to take place and the high-speed Channel Tunnel rail link runs nearby.
