Along with Gene and Carolyn Shoemaker, David Levy has made one of the greatest discoveries in the history of astronomy.

He has discovered 22 comets, including the source of the greatest, most violent planetary impact ever witnessed.

He has discovered 41 asteroids.

Among the 32 books he has authored is the definitive biography of Clyde Tombaugh, the man who discovered the planet Pluto.


David Levy will be our guest on AFM*Radio, live at 0100 UTC on Friday, March 19, 2010 (which is 9pm EDT on March 18).
