Led Zeppelin Releases “Mothership” Today

Rock group Led Zeppelin releases their compilation album entitled “Mothership” on November 13, 2007.

The songs included on the album were chosen by surviving members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones.

The album will feature hit songs from all eight of the band's previous studio albums.

In addition to a two disc set, the album will also be available in both "deluxe" and "collector's" editions with a DVD featuring selected live content with Led Zeppelin.

Hit singles such as ‘Stairway to Heaven” and “The Song Remains the Same” are both featured on the album.

Led Zeppelin is scheduled to perform on December 10, 2007 in London at the O2 Arena.
