Opposition Party in South Africa Calls for Vote of No-Confidence in President Jacob Zuma

Opposition party Congress of the People has called for a vote of no-confidence in South African President Jacob Zuma following the leader’s recent admission to fathering a child out of wedlock.

The motion has been backed by the Democratic Alliance party but the threat to Zuma’s leadership doesn’t appear serious as his ANC party dominates parliament, a fact that will likely keep the motion from gaining any traction.

There has been no report on when the no-confidence vote would take place.
