Academic Company Offers Academic Summer Camp

Quantum Learning Network’s academic summer camps provide campers with the same Quantum Learning-based learning and life skills that over two million students have been impacted by worldwide.

QLN’s SuperCamp academic summer camps are now in their twenty-eighth year. In recent years, SuperCamp has been attracting a growing number of teens and pre-teens to academic camps every year, as parents realize the value of balancing down time with summer enrichment over the course of a long break.

As one parent of a recent SuperCamp graduate says, "I was anxious to see what exactly was going to be done. SuperCamp gave my daughter the tools to improve not only her grades but also her attitude. She emerged a motivated "can't wait to learn more" teenager. Better attitude, better self-motivation, more self-esteem and the bonus... better grades."

The great thing about SuperCamp is that the kids who attend learn while having fun. The dynamic, engaging SuperCamp facilitators and team leaders keep the days and evenings alive with learning and breakthrough moments for the campers. By the end of the 7-day or  10-day program, the kids can’t wait to come back next summer for more.

Based on accelerated learning principles, SuperCamp is a multi-sensory experience using colors, music, and other sounds, as well as interactive feedback to stimulate the learning process and long-term retention. Campers from grades 6 through high school learn pertinent academic skills in the areas of critical thinking, creative writing, reading comprehension, reading speed, study and test-taking techniques and much more.

Interspersed among the learning skills is instruction in the life skills area. Students gain insight into communication, team building, motivation, trust, leadership and other important life skills that help them in school and in relationships with friends and family.

SuperCamp is held at nine U.S. colleges from Stanford in the west to Brown University in the east. There are three age-specific programs for students entering grades 6-8, 9-12 and college. Camps fill up very early, so parents looking at summer camp options for their kids are urged to visit SuperCamp’s website at http://www.qln.com/ now and call their toll-free number, 800-285-3276, to enroll in the camp of their choice
