Men's clothing seller Casual Male Retail Group Inc. (NASDAQ:CMRG) on Thursday reported earning a profit in the fourth quarter as it cut costs to compensate for sales being weak.
Casual Male's profit for the three months that ended Jan. 30 was $3.6 million, or 8 cents per share. A year earlier, it recorded a loss of $108 million, or $2.61 per share. Excluding impairment and other charges, the fourth-quarter loss a year ago was 14 cents per share.
