Investigation Continues in Shooting Death of 11-Year-Old Pennsylvania Boy

Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of 11-year-old Michael Lee at the hands of a 9-year-old playmate.

According to police reports the two kids were playing in an attic at an Altoona, Pennsylvania residence on Friday when the 9-year-old boy accidentally shot Lee in the head with a .22-calibre rifle bullet.

There were adults present at the house when the shooting took place but it is unclear who owned the rifle.

While the shooting has been declared accidental the investigation has continued.
