CEO of Mesa Energy was recently interviewed by Debra Borchardt of theStreet. In this interview Randy M. Griffin discussed a lot of information in regards to the company. Some of the topics that were brought up in the interview included the Company's natural gas drilling project in Wyoming County in western New York as well as Mesa’s focus on the Marcellus Shale and the potential benefits of supplying the northeast region with natural gas.
Mr. Griffin also commented on the support and cooperation of the local folks in the area, "We believe that upstate New York is a good place to do business. We've met a lot of the landowners, service companies and the like in that part of the state and they've been very supportive, very cooperative. They are hungry for the economic development that the Marcellus Shale can bring. State and local government will also benefit to a significant degree from economic development and increased tax revenues."
