Dr. Donda West Funeral Set to Take Place in Oklahoma City

The family of superstar rapper Kanye West are currently making funeral arrangements for Dr. Donda West in Oklahoma City, who passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2007.

A spokesperson for Howard-Harris Funeral home told KOCO Channel 5 in Oklahoma City that the family had contacted them in preparation for Donda’s funeral.

In regards to his mother and support from his fans, Kanye's rep released the following statement, "Kanye West, his family and friends would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and kind words that have come in from across the country since the death of his mother, Dr. Donda West."

Dr. West passed due to complications with plastic surgery. The autopsy is not yet complete.
