Hannah Montana Fans Suing Fan Club Over Concert Tickets

Hannah Montana fans hoping to pick up tickets for the current “Best of Both Worlds Tour” have found themselves facing a crisis, shell out up to five times the face value of a ticket or listen to their screaming kids.

For those fans who joined the Miley Cyrus Fan Club it wasn’t supposed to be this difficult. Many joined the teenager’s club so that they would have priority when tickets were released for the Disney star’s concerts, now they’re finding out their membership made little difference in trying to get seats.

A New Jersey woman was so upset with the fan club’s practices that she has filed a lawsuit against Interactive Media Marketing Inc. and Smiley Miley Inc. and is seeking triple the damages as well as attorney’s fees for all who join her fight.

The lawsuit, brought on by Kerry Inman, was filed in U.S. District Court in Nashville and claimed that the fan club used deceptive practices in enticing individuals to purchase memberships.
