Volunteers continue to search for missing 17-year-old Ben Stanford, who is the grandson of Alabama State Senator Jim Preuitt. Stanford was last seen in Anniston, Alabama around 7:30 a.m. on November 5.

Stanford last used his credit card that morning to by gas at a Texaco station in Alabama while on his way to school. The Donoho School senior never made it to school. Surveillance cameras at the gas station show Stanford’s 2007 Jeep Cherokee, but never shows the driver.

The car was found November 5 around 2 p.m. by Georgia State Troppers. It was parked near the Villa Rica exit of I-20 with the passenger door open, the keys gone, and the doors unlocked.

A group called ‘Equu Search,’ which most recently searched for Stacey Peterson, is organizing the search near the Villa Rica exit. Volunteers have walked the wooded areas near the exit for signs of Stanford.

Stanford’s family is offering a $100,000 reward for information on his whereabouts.
