Jay-Z and “American Gangster” land the #1 Spot on the Billboard 200 Charts

Jay-Z recently scored his 10th No. 1 album on The Billboard 200, with his latest album entitled “American Gangster". The album debuted on top this week after selling 425,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Jay-Z released “American Gangster” on November 6, 2007; the album is Jay-Z's first concept album, which was inspired by the film of the same name.

The album features guest appearances by Lil Wayne, Pharrell and Beanie Sigel.
