Katie Cassidy, daughter of David Cassidy, was arrested for underage drinking. She subsequently lied about her identity, knowing she was indeed under-aged. Cassidy, a blonde, said she was dark-haired actress Taylor Quinn Cole.
Apparently, this incident happened weeks ago, but sources leaked the identity switch recently.
Cassidy was stopped in her car in Tucson, Arizona for driving erratically. The police noticed the smell of alcohol. Katie’s eyes were glazed. They asked for her driver’s license.
Katie, who had a role in “Supernatural”, mentioned the name of another actress who appeared in the same show. She lied that she was Taylor Cole. However, she messed up when her supposed birthdate and age did not match. Katie then broke down and confessed to the police.
The P.R. people for both Katie Cassidy and Taylor Cole did not respond with comments when they were questioned about this incident.
