The #2 Ohio State Buckeyes managed to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16 on Sunday after knocking off the #10 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 75-66 at the Bradley Center in Wisconsin.

Evan Turner showed why he was the Big Ten player of the year, scoring 24 points grabbing 9 rebounds and dishing out 8 assists as the Buckeyes withstood a late charge by the Jackets to advance.

Tech stayed within two points of Ohio State into the opening minutes of the second half but the Buckeyes went on a 14-2 run to build a 46-32 advantage and the Yellow Jackets never recovered. While Derrick Favors was able to get the Jackets to within 65-61 with 1:47 Turner managed to sink a pair from the line and then David Lighty put the game away with two from the stripe to go up by eight with 1:13 left.

Ohio State will now head to St. Louis to face the #6 Tennessee Volunteers who beat Ohio on Saturday to reach the Sweet 16.
