Del Monte will be participating in the Barclays Capital High Yield Bond and Syndicated Loan Conference on March 24-26. The company will begin its presentation on Thursday, March 25 at 1:10 pm ET. Del Monte Foods Company (Del Monte) is a producer, distributor and marketer of branded food and pet products for the United States retail market. The Company operates in two segments: Consumer Products and Pet Products. The Consumer Products segment includes the Consumer Products operating segment, which manufactures, markets and sells branded and private label shelf-stable products, including fruit, vegetable, tomato and broth products. On October 6, 2008, Del Monte Corporation (DMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, sold Galapesca S.A., Panapesca Fishing, Inc. and Marine Trading Pacific, Inc. to Starkist Co.
