Michael Vick Begins Serving Sentence Ahead of Dec. 10 Court Date

Michael Vick opted to voluntarily surrender on Monday and begin serving his sentence for his involvement in a dogfighting case.

Vick is scheduled to hear his sentencing on Dec. 10 but decided to turn himself in early so that he may be released on an earlier date.

That date will be determined in less than a month when Judge Henry Hudson hands down the sentence in a Richmond, Va. court room.
