Narconon Freedom Teaches Addicts To Be Of Good Appearance

If you have ever known someone suffering from drug addiction one of the traits and things that rapidly hits the skids is the persons own personal appearance.  Loss of self-respect and general moral decline as a factor in drug addiction is addressed on the Narconon program.

Narconon Freedom Center has a successful history of freeing drug addicts from the bonds of addiction.  This past week alone they had 7 graduates of the full Narconon program. The final book of the Narconon program is The Way to Happiness.  This is were students of the Narconon program study a full non-religious moral code based on common sense.

One such precept of the moral code in The Way to Happiness is "Be of Good Appearance." As an addict descends into full blown drug addiction their appearance suffers from both the physical and mental aspects of drug addiction. This precept imparts an understanding of why it is important to "Be of Good Appearance" and makes it real to the student.  There is also the precept "Safeguard and Improve Your Environment".  This precept is key to know and follow if one is going to get along in the world.

There are 21 precepts in all studied in The Way to Happiness by students of the Narconon program. The Way to Happiness was written by L. Ron Hubbard. This book has been distributed in more than 130 nations and over 70 million copies are in circulation. The book has had been commended by businesses and governments alike.

Students on the Narconon program come into the program usually in pretty bad shape. The idea of morals is not very real to them. However, by first addressing their physical cravings as a result of drug addiction and then addressing the mental aspects of addiction, the student moves into a higher level of awareness, where morals become very real indeed. In studying The Way to Happiness they can see how applying these simple principles can lead to a happier life and they begin doing so immediately.

Narconon graduations are an event of true happiness. Both the student and the parents, spouse or family members are overjoyed by the true gains made on the program. Upon completion of the Narconon program students are no longer drug addicts and have been given a new lease on life, instilled with a moral code that will serve them well in all that they do.

As one student's parents stated, "The Narconon Freedom Center and their awesome staff gave our son the help and the valuable life skills he needed to return to the person he used to be — only better!"

Narconon truly changes lives. Each step of the program is designed to handle one facet of addiction and the reasons an addict started using drugs as a solution are also addressed. The Way to Happiness incorporates the final knowledge a student needs before graduating and going on to live a successful drug-free life.
