Standard & Poor's Ratings Services on Monday upgraded its outlook on Micron Technology Inc. Micron Technology Inc. trades on the “NASDAQ” under the stock symbol “MU”. Standard & Poor's Ratings Services on Monday upgraded its outlook on Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) citing signs that the memory industry is "well into a cyclical upswing." The upgrade helped send Micron Tech. shares up 38 cents, or 3.8 percent. They closed at $10.33.

Standard & Poor's said Micron Techs. operating trends are "recovering sharply" and the company has a healthy free cash flow. It said Micron techs. operating trends have been positive for 4 consecutive quarters. The outlook was revised from negative to positive, and the rating on some of Micron Techs. debt was affirmed.
