An accident involving former Alabama football star Siran Stacey has left six dead, including his wife Ellen Stacey, four of their children, and the driver of the other vehicle. The accident occurred Monday on U.S. 84 just outside of Dothan, Alabama.
State troopers say Stacey’s 36-year-old wife and four children, ages 18, 10, 8, and 2, were all killed as well as 29-year-old Adam W. Wayman. Stacey, who was a running back for the University of Alabama in the 1990’s, is in stable condition in the intensive care unit at a Dothan hospital. His 3-year-old daughter is in a hospital in Birmingham.
The accident occurred around 11 p.m. when Stacey was driving through a green light and a pickup truck, that was riding on the wrong side of the road, hit him.
