Madeleine McCann smuggled to Morocco by child traffickers

The parents of missing British child Madeleine McCann now believe that their daughter has been smuggled to Morocco by child traffickers after being abducted from their holiday apartment in Portugal on May 3. A detective agency that Gerry and Kate McCann hired to find Madeleine believe the 4-year-old was abducted and then handed over to a child trafficking group.

Their theory is based on the testimony of a Portuguese trucker. The truck driver believes he saw the hand over of Madeleine from her original abductor to another person. The trucker claims he saw the incident happen on May 5 on the outskirts of Silves, which is 25 miles away from the resort Madeleine was taken from.

“We think this could have been the moment that Madeleine was handed over by the original abductor to a group who then took her out of the country,” says a source from Metodo 3 agency. “We are working on the theory that Madeleine was spotted as an easy target and stolen to order.”

A spokesman for the Kate and Gerry McCann said the witness who claims to have seen the exchange is “credible.” “The witness who claims to have seen Madeleine being transferred was thoroughly interviewed face to face by and investigator from Metodo 3 and was deemed to be a credible witness,” says the spokesman, Clarence Mitchell.
