Former MLB Star Involved in Car Crash

Former New York Yankees pitcher Doc Gooden was arrested on Tuesday and has been charged with a number of crimes. According to cops, Gooden had a child passenger in his car when he got into a car crash while under the influence of drugs. The charges that have been filed against him include the following: driving while under the influence (DWI) of drugs, DWI with a child passenger, endangering the welfare of a child, and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Sadly, this story may not come as a huge surprise to those who are familiar with the history of this baseball legend. In 2002, Gooden was arrested in Tampa and charged with driving while intoxicated. In 2005, he drove away from a traffic stop in Tampa, and the cop reported that Gooden smelled of alcohol.
