Bill Nye, The Science Guy Seeks Permanent Restraining Order Against Ex

Bill Nye has filed court paper asking a judge to issue a permanent restraining order against his ex-fiancee Blair Tindall following an incident in which the woman allegedly tried to poison the television star.

Known for his hit television series “Bill Nye, the Science Guy,” the 51-year-old pointed to an incident in which Tindall appeared at his Studio City home carrying “two plastic bottles filled with some sort of solvent.”

Tindall admitted that she dumped weed killer on the garden but insisted that the act was meant to kill flowers and not cause harm to any individual.

Nye and Tindall were married in 2006 by Rev. Rick Warren, the author of the best-selling book “The Purpose-Driven Life” but the marriage license was declared invalid. The relationship quickly fell apart and Nye informed Tindall that she would not be moving into the home.

Shortly after that, Tindall appeared at Nye’s house with the bottles.

A court date has been set for Dec. 20 at which time a judge will determine if a restraining order is necessary.
