Imprisoned “Girls Gone Wild” Founder Joe Francis Claims Abuse

Joe Francis, the founder of Mantra Films Inc. which produces the controversial DVD video series “Girls Gone Wild,” has recently claimed abuse from prison guards at the Oklahoma jail in which he was staying.

The allegations stem from a brief stay at the Grady County Law Enforcement Center while Francis was being transported from a Florida jail to a federal facility in Reno, Nevada.

According to court papers, Francis said that guards refused to serve him food or provide him with blankets and threatened to strip him naked and strap him to a chair for 48 hours. Guards at the facility have denied the allegations.

Francis was being transferred from his Florida prison to Nevada where he was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of tax evasion.
