Strand founded Nova Composites, Inc. in 1996. He served as the Nova’s President until it was acquired by Park Electrochemical in April of 2008. Following the acquisition, Strand joined Park Electrochemical as its Director of Aerospace Structures Engineering. Before Nova Composites, Strand served as the President of Intec Composites and Integrated Technologies, Inc.
