NBA Schedule Sunday March 28: Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard Square Off in Showdown Between Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic
The NBA has ten games on schedule for Sunday with plenty of teams still fighting for playoff position with less than a dozen games remaining in the regular season.
While it won’t draw the attention of most the Chicago Bulls will be traveling to face the Detroit Pistons in what could be another step closer to catching the Toronto Raptors for the final spot in the Eastern Conference picture. The Bulls are 1.5 games back right now but the Raptors are falling apart and they have to deal with a surging Miami Heat team that has won four straight and could still land the five seed in the playoffs.
The Denver Nuggets are in a dogfight for the number two seed in the Western Conference, currently tied with the Dallas Mavericks and just ahead of the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns. Denver will look to gain some separation when they face the Orlando Magic in a showdown between Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard. Howard has his Magic squad comfortably in the number two spot in the Eastern Conference but a win against the Nuggets would be a strong message.
Chasing the Nuggets in the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns have won six straight and will be looking for their seventh when they take on the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves. Right now the Suns are a game behind the Utah Jazz for the fourth seed and would love to take that spot to gain the home-court advantage in the opening round.
