According to Houston Police, the man walked into the Greenspoint Mall and approached his girlfriend who was opening a security gate above the store in which she worked. The two struggled before the man shot the in the head.
Moments after killing his girlfriend the man turned the gun on himself.
Several of the stores in Greenspoint Mall remain closed.
