Vale (ADR) (NYSE:VALE) soars 2.48% to $31.56 on 7.56 million shares. The stock was upgraded by Canaccord Adams from “Hold” to “Buy.”

CONSOL Energy Inc. (NYSE:CNX) added 1.51% to $43.14 on 5.79 million shares. CONSOL Energy Inc. is a multi-fuel energy producer and energy services provider primarily serving the electric power generation industry in the United States.
