A friend of missing Kansas college student Emily Sander says Sander led a double life as internet porn star Zoey Zane. “She enjoyed it. She is a young teenage girl and she wanted to be in movies and enjoyed movies. She needed the extra money,” said Niki Watson, a close friend of Sander’s.
Sander, 18, was last seen leaving an El Dorado bar with 24-year-old Israel Mierles. Authorities said Sander’s car was found Saturday at the bar. The search for Sander led police to Mireles' motel room. Police say evidence in the room leads them to believe that foul play was involved. On Tuesday, police released a photo of a floral bedspread asking the public to help find it.
Mireles' rented Ford Taurus was found in Vernon, Texas. Police are looking for Mireles and his 16-year-old girlfriend, but do not believe Emily is with them.
Police would not confirm whether Sander is Zoe Zane and refuses to reveal if the porn site was in any way involved in her disappearance.
