Narconon Freedom Center Provides A Positive Approach to Drug Addiction

The modern American culture advertises drugs at every opportunity.  In reviewing the stock market one notices the pharmaceutical companies have done well as their profits continue to rise.  Today more Americans are hooked on drugs than ever before.  Advertising works.

Narconon Freedom Center works daily delivering drug rehabilitation to Americans that have fallen into the trap of drug addiction. The Narconon program offers a way out for the addict that doesn't involve more drugs. The word "Narconon" means "no drugs".

In this 21st century we have every avenue of advertising flooded with the positive messages of "drugs are the answer" when in truth drugs mask a problem and leads one down the road to eventual physical and mental collapse. Narconon points out drugs are essentially poisons. The amount taken determines the effect.

When dealing with drug addiction one also sees the end result of the multitude of advertising that is directed at teens and young adults who most often fall prey to drug addiction. In fact, even the American Psychiatric Association whose members are some of the heaviest drug pushers of modern times writing prescriptions for so-called "diseases" that are in fact voted into existence, states in their Adolescent Substance Abuse position statement, "Media should reduce their emphasis on and positive depictions of substance use, including alcohol and nicotine use."

It has been found through working with addicts in Narconon that many addicts started their addiction as children being prescribed psychiatric drugs.  This also started some on the road to drug dealing, selling their psychiatric drug prescriptions to other students.

The bottom line is drugs are a dead end road. They may be helpful in alleviating temporary pain, however, used past this temporary period one is well on ones way to addiction.

The Narconon program done at Narconon Freedom Center is started with a physical examination to ensure the person receives any medical care needed before starting the program. After this the student at Narconon is given individual attention which includes proper nutrition, vitamins and minerals all to assist them in coming off drugs. There are also a variety of physical techniques applied that ease withdrawal and extrovert the person.

Each step of the Narconon program is done in a sequence to focus on the student winning over the barriers he or she has had in their battle with drugs. There are education steps of the program which give the student the true information on drugs and address the many factors that were going on in a person's life that led up to their drug addiction.
