Freedom Communications has announce that it’s president of its Newspapers Division, Jonathan Segal will be retiring on June 30, 0201. Mr. Segal first joined the company over 40 year ago when he entered as a high school student in the circulation department of the Brownsville Herald. Mr. Segal feels that now is the best time to retire as the company comes to an end to its Chapter 11 process. Segal will be succeeded by Mark McEachen who will accept all responsibilities of Segal’s position, in addition to his duties as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer.
