Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAT) gains 0.67% to $13.54 on 3.67 million shares. The company announced that it expects fiscal 2010 net sales to be more than 60% higher than in fiscal 2009 compared to its previous forecast of up more than 50%. The Company reported revenue of $5.014 billion in fiscal 2009. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report revenue of $8.196 billion for fiscal 2010.
