Three Phases in the G&G Holistic Addiction Treatment Center Alcohol Rehabilitation Program

An alcohol rehabilitation program is more than just bringing a patient into an addiction treatment center, putting the patient through the program, and releasing the patient once it has been completed. There is more to the person than just what can be seen, so therefore there should be more to a rehabilitation program.

And, just as G&G Holistic Addiction Treatment Center believes that there are three aspects to a person—mind, body, and spirit (or mental, physical, and emotional; the terms are interchangeable)—so, too does the alcohol rehab center at G&G Holistic Addiction Treatment Center have three phases.

The first phase is the Intensive Outpatient/Modified Inpatient program. In this program, patients meet either in the morning or the evenings, depending on whether or not they currently remain at the center without leaving, or if they leave to go to work or school and then return either for the night or for therapy sessions. Individual and group therapy sessions are held, as well as other aspects of the alcohol rehabilitation program.

The second phase involves the family. Just because a person is undergoing an alcohol rehabilitation program does not mean the family is or can be no longer involved. In fact, G&G Holistic Addiction Treatment Center feels that the family is one of the most important aspects in the treatment program, and should be included in the things occurring at the alcohol rehab center.

The third phase involves activity. This involves both inpatients and outpatients. The opportunity to engage in physical activity of all types at the addiction treatment center is given, and includes tennis, swimming, weightlifting, or karate, just to name a few. Physical activity relieves stress and eliminates boredom-two things that can lead to relapse.
