CEO of Rap-A-Lot records James Prince was charged on Friday in the beating of rival rap mogul Ronnie Bookman and if convicted could be facing 10 years in prison.

The attack was carried out in January and Bookman suffered severe head trauma, a broken nose and damage to both eyes.
Bookman has said he was invited by Prince to meet so that the two could settle their differences but when the conversation turned hostile the Rap-A-Lot CEO ordered several men to attack.
Prince was initially facing a misdemeanor but that has since been elevated to a felony.
