An inquest into the death of fashion icon Isabella Blow revealed the 48-year-old died after ingesting a lethal dosage of weed killer.
Known instantly from her bright red lipstick and colorful hats, Blow had suffered from severe depression and attempted suicide on at least three other occasions before her suicide on May 6.
According to those who knew her, Blow was struggling with the fact she was fading from the fashion scene and was no longer considered an influence in the industry. The inquest revealed Blow consumed 20 times the fatal dose of Paraquat weed killer, the same poison her father-in-law used to kill himself.
Blow has been credited with discovering the models Stella Tennant and Sophie Dahl along with the fashion designer Alexander McQueen.
