A New York City based window washer died in the early morning on Friday and his partner was seriously injured when their scaffold fell 40 stories from a skyscraper.
It is reported by fire officials that the injured man was taken to a hospital in serious condition, Parts of the scaffold and the body of the dead worker was lying in a plaza area outside the building on the east side of the city.
