Top Semiconductor Stocks Trading Higher are MU, AMAT, TXN, MRVL, CREE, SNDK, BRCM

Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) increased 1.47% to $10.32 after an upgrade from Standard & Poor’s.  An S&P analyst lifted his rating to “hold” from “sell,” citing “solid near-term prices.”  He also adjusted his 12-month price target to $12 from $8.  Wedbush also upped its target price to $17.50 from $15 on the heels of this successful visit to the earnings confessional.  The stock has a 52-week range of $4.01-$11.34.

Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAT) added 1.57% to $13.56.  Over the last 52 weeks the stock has ranged from a low of $10.31 to a high of $14.94. 

Texas Instruments Incorporated (NYSE:TXN) advanced 2.84% to $25.33 after today introduced the availability of its WiLink™ 6.0 (WL1271) solution on the OMAP35x processor Evaluation Module (EVM).  With this solution, TI is making wireless connectivity solutions available for design in a broad array of applications. Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL) rose 2.80% to $20.95. The stock has a 52-week range of $9.30-$21.76.

Cree, Inc. (NASDAQ:CREE) surged 8.85% to $76.92. The stock today also touched new 52 week high at $77.07.  So far in this year the stock went up over 37%.        

SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) added 2.34% to $35.52. The stock has a 52-week range of $12.04-$36.25. So far in this year the stock went up over 21%.       

Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ:BRCM) surged 4.08% to $34.50. Today the stock also touched a new 52 week high at $34.55.
