The upcoming free scuba refresher course by
Scuba.com is perfect for divers who want to review their diving knowledge and skills. All scuba divers are welcome to attend, regardless of which dive certification agency they received their open water training with originally. Divers of any certification level are encouraged to attend this free day of training on Saturday, April 10th in Irvine, CA.
This scuba review provides the convenience and flexibility to complete a prescriptive review of previously learned diving knowledge with a certified scuba diving instructor. This helpful training will include classroom review in addition to an afternoon pool session where skills can be practiced.
Some of the topics to be covered include:
- Safe diving practices
- Dive gear inspection/care and maintenance
- Dive planning fundamentals
- Problem management
- Breathing air at depth
- Recreational dive table knowledge review and dive table planning
After completing the review lecture, divers will refresh their diving skills in confined water at our local pool, which will cover water skills allowing them to refresh and practice their diving skills in the underwater environment, under the supervision of a certified scuba diving instructor.
