Gunman Kills Two at Christian Training Center for Youth Ministry Outside Denver

A gunman walked into the Youth with a Mission Christian training center on Sunday and opened fire, killing two people and wounding another two before running away.

The shooter was described as a white male, about 20-years-old, and wearing sunglasses and a skull cap when he began shooting. Tiffany Johnson, 26, of Minnesota and Philip Krouse, 24, of Hawaii were identified as the two killed in the attack.

There were approximately 45 residents living at the center in Arvada, Colorado when the shooting took place. Designed to provide training for young Christian missionaries, Youth with a Mission was founded in 1960 and has operations in 149 countries.

Police are using tracking dogs to search for the suspected shooter.
