Erin Andrews Will Not Quit Despite Death Threats

ESPN Reporter Will Remain on "Dancing with the Stars"

In an unfortunate and disturbing turn of events, ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has allegedly been receiving death threats.  Despite the fact that the man who had previously videotaped her nude through a hotel-room peephole already pleaded guilty to a federal stalking charge and has been sentenced to jail, Andrews now apparently has another, seemingly more dangerous, stalker.  Former ESPN sportscaster Dan Patrick has reportedly been receiving extremely violent e-mails regarding Andrews.  Initially of a sexual nature, the e-mails recently turned into very specific murder threats.  Fortunately, the FBI believes they have identified the perpetrator.

Erin Andrews has responded quite gracefully to this.  Despite everything that has transpired, she refuses to quit her current role as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.  Andrews has stated, “I don’t quit on things. It’s not an option for me.”  Heightened security has been requested at the site of Dancing with the Stars.
