Former J.C. Penney (NYSE: JCP) CEO Allen Questrom will not seek re-election to Wal-Mart's board of directors, according to Associated Press.
Questrom will step down three years after joining the board in 2007.

Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE: WMT) said it had no comment. Questrom did not immediately return a call for comment.
Questrom, 70, was chairman and CEO of J.C. Penney Co. (NYSE: JCP) from 2000 to December 2004 and before served in the same capacity at Barneys, Neiman Marcus Group Inc. and Federated Department Stores Inc., whose name is now Macy's Inc. (NYSE: M).
He is a senior adviser at Lee Equity Partners in New York.
Wal-Mart Stores shares fell 7 cents to $55.42 during afternoon trading on Tuesday.
